Our vintage-inspired navy & white dotted Celebrity dress was all over the press again, this time on Krysten Ritter! This dress has to have gotten the most attention of all of them, explaining why we can’t keep them in stock anymore! Media outlets couldn’t get enough of her in the hypnotizing dots:

Life & Style Weekly named her as one of their Best-Dressed Stars of the week both in print and on their online site lifeandstylemag.com!
OK! Weekly’s OKMagazine.com placed the picture in their “Quick Pics” section the day after she wore the dress to the Hilarity for Charity event.
She followed the lead of Emmy Rossum when she wore the same dress by pairing it with red heels and red lips to match. This created quite the stir in magazines and online sites, all asking the age-old question: Who Wore It Better? Looking almost identical, we don’t know how any of these outlets chose a winner (if they were even able to)…

Ok! Magazine thinks Emmy Rossum looked better in the dress…
…and PeopleStyleWatch.com is letting their fans decide by voting on their Fashion Faceoff!

E! Online thinks both girls look flawless (as do we) so they left it up to readers to decide for themselves. We agree that polka dots are more popular than ever recently, and that both the stars look effortlessly chic! Click here to read their fans’ choices!
Perez Hilton’s CocoPerez.com included a poll for the two looks, click here to place your vote and see what other fans think!
Krysten won US Weekly‘s vote!

Stop Staring Vintage Dress Give-A-Way & the Differences between Vintage and Retro Clothing
Over the last few decades, fashion trends across the world have taken a vintage turn. This was excellent news for us as our founder and lead dress designer, Alicia Estrada saw an opportunity to create the type of vintage dresses she loves. To celebrate our love for vintage designs and clothing, we are giving away one of our most unique Stop Staring Hollywood vintage dresses.
Stop Staring’s Celebrity Vintage Dress
This one-of-a-kind, 1950’s inspired dress from Stop Staring Clothing allows vintage-loving women the opportunity to capture old Hollywood glamour in their own way. The penciled skirt elongates the legs and the dress gathers near the waist and bust to hide all possible flaws in the body. Gorgeous fabric, a special pattern and a vintage silhouette truly set this dress and its wearer apart from the crowd. To win this dress…
One of the reasons we are so pleased to give away one of our favorite designs, the Celebrity Dress, is because we are positive that it fits the trend that is moving further towards the popularity of vintage designs.
The Popularity of the Vintage Design
Over the last two decades or so, we’ve see a definite movement towards vintage/retro inspired clothing designs. The reasons for the popularity of this style are clear, with many women feeling these styles offer more coverage while accentuating their curves than the modern dress designs of today. Whether the vintage dress is considered Hollywood glam or a rockabilly design, many of our buyers feel they have distinct styles which are showcased through their Stop Staring Clothing.
The Differences between Vintage and Retro Clothing
While popularity of vintage clothing has been high recently, the term “vintage” is used rather loosely. Vintage in fact relates to clothing made between the time periods of the 1920s and the 1960s. Clothing styles and designs dating back before the 1920’s are considered be to antique and are coined as such. You may be asking what the term retro has to do with vintage or antique clothing but in fact, retro designs are more popular than any other style of clothing across the “vintage” landscape. Retro is the designing term used to define modern dress designers who imitate the silhouettes, cuts, fabrics and designs of vintage clothing. To put it simply, retro is new clothing made in the style of vintage.
