Stop Staring! designer Alicia Estrada hanging out with David Tutera!
Recently, Stop Staring! designer Alicia Estrada had the chance to hang out with David Tutura, of My Fair Wedding, which also happens to be one of her favorite shows!! This awesome photo was taken backstage during the filming of one of his upcoming episodes! In case you aren’t familiar with this amazing show, you have to take time to check it out! Basically, it is about brides who are in the process of planning their dream weddings , and then David comes in only to change the whole thing around. He always does an amazing job and gives them a better wedding then they ever could have imagined. The reason, we love the show is that they have actually featured some of our swing dresses on one of the episodes! We have had our retro dresses used on the bridesmaids of several weddings, but to have them featured on this show really cements how fabulous and stylish Stop Staring! can be for even the most special of your events!! Stop Staring! on the Red Carpet again!! This time the lucky gal , is Briana Evigan, who you might know from the super cool movie, Step Up, Step Up 2: the Streets. This time Briana was out promoting her newest flick, Subject: I Love You. This movie’s storyline is based on the destructive, I Love You, computer virus that spread at the turn of the millenium, remember that?? Anyway, yes, it is about that, but, since I don’t wanna ruin it for anybody who plans on seeing it, that’s all I will say…..Oh, and , YES, it is a love story!! You have to go out and see it!!

I am totally loving this snapshot of Lizzy Harley in one of our swing dresses. Some more highlights from our Style Fashion Week LA Fashion Show! This time our cocktail dresses were featured on Eye*Like*Your*Style Blog! This blog was written by the Editor in Chic, Ronda Carson, on March 29, 2011. If your not already watching CBS’s new hit t.v show “Live to Dance”, now is the time to start! The show is so full of energy and talent, it makes you want to get off your couch and dance.
We recieved news , that Sarah, one of the competitors on the show,was recently caught dancing the night away in one of our cocktail dresses! Our super popular olive green Majorette dress to be exact. Of course, she had to have it shortened a bit , so it would be easier to move around in , but we don’t blame her- Girl, can DANCE! Sarah and her partner, Dax had just come back after suffering an injury and managed to still give a great Lindy Hoppin’ performance! Great Job , Guys!!

Stop Staring! cocktail dresses ruled the runway, this weekend at Phoenix Fashion Week, 2010. This seasons Fashion Week in Phoenix, AZ. was a super success for Stop Staring! clothing. The runway show wich was featured on Saturday, Oct.9th, during the Designer’s Showcase went off without a hitch. Every single model looked absolutely stunning as they walked the catwalk in this seasons hottest, sexy dresses by Stop Staring! All the different types of dresses including swing dresses, retro dresses, and evening dresses were showcased in the fashion show, so there was much to be loved by everybody. So of course, it was no surprise to hear the best news ever– Stop Staring! won the much coveted award for Outstanding Brand!! How amazing is that?!!
