After Nigella Lawson wore our Billion Dollar Baby dress on ABC‘s The Taste last month, the dress has been flying out of our website and apparently the shelves of other stores too! The boutique she got the dress from sold out within hours of the premiere of the show! Incredible. To prove why this dress is so popular the Daily Mail tracked down five different women from five different cities with five different lifestyles and body types, each a size from Medium to 3X, and had them rate the dress themselves. It’s amazing that one dress had the same outcome no matter the size — the women felt comfortable, attractive, and most importantly confident. Below are some of their comments:
“Doesn’t look like much on the hanger…but as soon as I put it on I was amazed by the transformation.”
“Comfortable as well as sensational to look at”
“A fabulous dress like this is one way of getting that sparkle back, and it would draw out the personality of the woman wearing it. You wear it, rather than it wearing you…when you put it on, it’s hard not to smile.”
“It’s clingy but flattering — I feel as if it lifts my breasts, and I like the fact that it covers my knees. Once the dress is on, it’s surprisingly functional…overall I feel sexy in it.”
The women (especially the plus sized ones) were a little hesitant on trying on the curve hugging number. They thought Nigella totally rocked the dress, and they were shocked to see how well they rocked it too! It fit them well and made them feel great. What more can you ask for from a dress? We love that plus sized women are able to feel as sexy as the next girl in a Stop Staring! dress.

Stop Staring! designer retro clothing all over the pages of the January 2013 issue of Viva Glam Magazine in a 6 page spread featuring Twilight’s Christian Serratos! The best part is that she was wearing only Stop Staring! clothing!
Christian looks flawless in every look! Viva Glam describes her as “…putting a new, classy spin on the sexy pinup look. Wearing 1940′s inspired dresses from one of her favorite brands, Stop Staring Clothing, she radiated old Hollywood glamour”. We love that description and we love this spread!! The definition of glamour!
Click here to see the last Stop Staring look Christian wore, she definitely looks much more mature in the Viva Glam shots! She looks absolutely radiant in some of our best selling styles like the red Blondi, the green Timeless, the black and white dotted Samantha, and the tan and black Olivia. She is growing into a star and a style icon right before our eyes and we are glad that Stop Staring gets to be a part of it!
Blogger Jenny Winward did a review of a Stop Staring! original vintage dress for her blog “Plane Pretty” (she’s a flight attendant!), which we think is the perfect description for her entire ensemble in the photographs above! Wearing the tan and black Olivia dress, Jenny looks stylish, confident, and just plain pretty! With a matching tan and black bag and classic black pumps, this look is work appropriate and totally chic. We love the visible tan contrast in the slit in the bottom picture, it really ties the whole outfit together! After you get your own Olivia dress, slip it on, add some lipstick, light eye make-up, and sassy heels and you can rock this look too! Check out addtional photos of this look by viewing the whole post here! Thanks Jenny, you look marvelous!
Another Stop Staring red dress strutted down the red carpet! Sarah Rafferty of USA‘s Suits wore the red Gathered Ava dress to NBC Universal’s 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards After Party and she looked amazing in it! The dress is so flattering on her and her hair color is the perfect accent for the deep red tone of the dress. Her nude heels elongated her legs and made this look a force to be reckoned with!

Actress Emmy Rossum has been incredibly busy promoting the new season of Showtime’s Shameless, her new album entitled “Sentimental Journey”, and a new movie Beautiful Creatures. She wore Stop Staring! on Friday’s episode of Extra, however, she wore a jacket over her dress to keep warm in the cold since the show tapes outside the LA Grove, so we do not have any photographs of this look. She turned heads of fashionistas and press everywhere when she stepped out in L.A. Monday night for her appearance on Conan O’Brien‘s hit talk show Conan, and there is an abundance of photos of that look! She created quite a buzz in the chic Stop Staring cocktail dress, so much that media outlets were flooded with photos of the Shameless star the next morning! We can’t get enough of the red lipstick, red nails, red heel combination! She looks perfectly poised and the soft curls in her hair are the icing on the cake! We give her an A++, she looks fabulous!

Stop Staring!’s vintage-inspired dresses have hit the red carpet once again! Actress Regina King of ABC‘s Southland looked amazing in our beige Calista dress at the NAACP Image Awards Nominee’s Luncheon in Beverly Hills this past weekend! The fit of the dress compliments her shape so well and the color goes great with her skin tones. The high-neckline of the dress plus subtle shoes and simple jewelry give this look a very soft and classic feel, perfect for a red carpet appearance! This is the second time we’ve seen Regina King in Stop Staring and we would be thrilled to see more!
