This dress is a sure classic! Play it sweet and sassy like a secretary, or show off your curves like the vixen you are! Made out of stretch black nylon bengaline, so it is stretchy yet firm enough to hide any flaws or undergarments if need be. Contrast is a perfect shade of cherry red. Dress is fitted from top to bottom, but the stretchy fabric flatters and hugs your curves the right way. The dress is sexy yet classy! Bodice features a round neckline with great art deco detailing! There is also contrast piping on the sleeves, and midriff. Skirt is fitted and features two flirty contrast kick pleats for easy walking and looking pretty! Love the cut of the dress. Glad I ordered one size up as recommended. A bit loose is better than a bit tight. I only wish Stop Staring would carry this dress in a P
petite. Am 5'4" and found the dress long (mid calf). Was able to shorten by about one inch without losing the style of the pleats. Still love the fit and so does my husband :)

I chose to follow the suggestion of "upping" the size on this dress and was absolutely THRILLED! Was saddened I could not have it shortened, that would have ruined it, but adding sky high heels and seamed hosiery...absolutely FAB! I am a Petite 2or4 and ordered a medium

Heed the sizing warnings...I ordered my normal Stop Staring size in blatant defiance and could barely zip it up. I am going to keep it because my weight fluctuates a bit (this can be a skinny dress!) but the waist and bust are a challenge. The hips felt plenty stretchy (I am an hourglass figure, so if you are slightly pear shaped and well within the measurements of a size guideline, normal size might be ok). The design is stunning and a wardrobe staple.

I ordered this dress in a size up according to the recommendation given by Stop Staring in the overview tab, specific to this dress. They are very clear that this dress runs smaller than their other dresses. The dress I received fits absolutely perfectly. I hope to order more of this style in other colors. I love Stop Staring dresses!

I agree w/Kim...I ordered this dress in a small (I have purchased two other SS dresses in a small and both fit like a glove). This was was extremely tight - so tight I couldnt move. Had to return it.

Lovely dress... but the sizing is horrible. I measured myself and was exactly between a medium and a large. It said if the fabric stretches to order down, so I did. It was WAY too small. So I returned the dress, paying shipping both ways, to get a large. Keep in mind this is bigger then my measurements. The LARGE was too small. It barely zips, and is extremely tight. Too tight, not in a flattering way. I was extremely disappointed. Especially because thanks to the return policy here, I can't return it for a different size again. I wanted so badly to wear this dress. :(
