In modelled in a pin-up burlesque shoot in a beautiful cabaret venue in London recently and this dress was one of the items we shot. It was my biggest dream to keep it but I just couldn't afford it at the time!
Timeless, excellent material, cut, piping and attention to detail, shape, etc.
I would give it 6 stars if I could.

Not crazy about this dress. The small fit well but the seams were busting. Exchanged it for a medium, and it swamps me. I really can't stand the eggplant color. It was the first Stop Staring dress I ever bought, and I bought it at a local store b/c I was just grateful to find a dress that was long enough for me. (Stop Staring dresses hit me just below the knees.)

My measurements are pretty much spot-on to the sizing specifications for this dress, and it fits me like a glove. It is beautiful. I wear a slick Spanx bodysuit under to tighten and smooth everything, and a good push-up bra. I was a little disappointed that the Eggplant color is not quite as bright as portrayed in the photo. It's darker and deeper than I expected, but still pretty.

The dress looked great and everyone said I did:-) I wasn't the exact size of the recommended measurements so it didn't fit perfectly. I will have to do some alterations. That's how it goes though. The material is beautiful. I'd definitely recommend it - great mixture of retro glam and sophisticated sexy.

The only reason this dress gets a 2 out of 5 is because the material is well-made. My suggestion for anyone purchasing this dress: think very, very carefully. I am between a size 8 and 10, and a medium. I purchased a large after taking my measurements based on the sizing chart. The large did not fit me. I went up a size. It's about a size too big. This is one of the least forgiving items of clothing I've ever tried on. Now I'm caught between finding someone who does fit in the dress, and tailoring it because of stopstaring's return policy. Just a warning to future customers: unless you look exactly like the model in the picture, don't buy this dress.
